Infrastructure development (residential, non-residential buildings and Border Out Posts) at establishments of Sashastra Seema Bal during the 12th Five Year Plan

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved construction of infrastructure, namely office buildings, residential buildings and Border Out Posts (BOPs), at various establishments of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) during the 12th Five Year Plan at the cost of Rs. 3510.07 crore. 

This includes construction of Barracks and non-residential buildings. 

In addition, the CCEA also approved construction of 2,000 houses and 10 barracks at 12 sites at an estimated cost of Rs. 413.88 crore. 

The approval will address one of the main concerns of the SSB for providing authorized infrastructure.
