Infrastructure development (residential and non-residential buildings) at establishments of Assam Rifles during the 12th Five Year Plan

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved construction of infrastructure, namely office buildings and residential buildings, at various establishments of Assam Rifles during the 12th Five Year Plan at the cost of Rs. 969.96 crore [i.e. Rs.752.42 crore for residential and office buildings + Rs.217.54 crore under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) housing project]. 

This includes construction of 113 barracks, 8 hospitals, 180 other office buildings. In addition, 840 houses are also approved to be constructed under EPC housing project at 6 sites at an estimated cost of Rs. 217.54 crore.
