Jan-Dhan Programme at Bangalore

Launching the Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (Financial inclusion) programme at a function in Bangalore today, the Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers Shri Anantha Kumar said that after long experience, thinking, interaction and consultation the project of financial inclusion was evolved by the Government of India with an objective of bringing the entire financially excluded population to the main path of growth so the sustainable growth of the nation could take place and benefits of the development could reach up to the last mile. He appealed to all the people of Karnataka to avail of the benefits of the programme and join hands to work for the development of the Country.
