Two friends of a Kolkata school wish to give some message to the society in a different way. They chose the popular medium and made a five minutes short movie in English called ‘Our-Bit’, which highlights the importance of water, food and electricity.

The film was selected for screening in the Little Directors category at the 18th International Children’s Film Festival presently undergoing in Hyderabad.

Interacting with media persons here on Sunday, Syed Muztaba Ali and Shambuk Biswas, the two little directors said that the storyline of the film is on two school boys, who waste precious resources of the Earth which are Food, Water and electricity.

Later on these boys realize that the wastage they had done, causes others and themselves to suffer. They don`t get back those resources which they once wasted. They follow some simple steps to preserve these resources after that.

The film was produced, directed and acted by them which got a good response during the screening.
