The Commission vide its Press Note No. ECI/PN/69/2017, dated 24th August, 2017, has declared bye elections to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council to fill 4 (four) casual vacancies as mentioned therein.
The Commission has decided to hold one more bye-election to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council by Members of State Legislative Assembly to fill up the vacancy created by resignation of Sh. Thakur Jaiveer Singh in accordance with the following programme:-
