The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has condoled the passing away of the Member of Parliament (LS), Shri E. Ahmed. In a message, he said that Shri Ahmed will be remembered for his contributions to the grass-roots development work in Kerala.
Following is the Vice President’s message:
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the demise of Shri E. Ahmed, Member of Parliament (LS).
Shri Ahmed will be remembered for his contributions to the grass-roots development work in Kerala as well as for his contributions towards the welfare of the Indian overseas communities, particularly in Western Asia.
I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family and join the nation in praying for eternal peace for the departed soul.”
