There are no institutions under the administrative control of Ministry of Culture named as Cultural Universities. However, there are four teaching institutions declared as deemed to be Universities under Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
These Universities are fully funded by the Ministry of Culture. The details of funds allocated/released (Plan and Non- Plan Head) during the current financial year i.e. 2016-17 are as under:-
