Index of Industrial Production (IIP) covers mining sector, manufacturing and electricity with the corresponding weights 14.157%, 75.527% and 10.316% respectively. The base year for the present series of IIP is 2004-05. As per available information, the index of mineral production for the last three years and the current year is given below:
