The Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum & Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan visited Telangana on June 25-26, 2015. During the visit he reviewed the various oil and gas projects in the state of Telangana; marketing of petroleum products and LPG; proposed pipeline projects; Coal Bed Methane projects and performance of Bhagyanagar Gas Ltd.
The Minister reviewed the performance of private companies and Joint Ventures who are operating in exploration and production of oil & gas including CBM in the region.
Later, while holding a detailed review of marketing, city gas and CSR projects, he observed that people of the state should have ready availability of all kinds of petroleum products and shortage of any kind should be avoided.
Shri Pradhan was accompanied by a delegation comprising Shri K.D. Tripathi, Secretary Petroleum, Shri A.K Sawhney, Additional Secretary, Shri U.P. Singh, Joint Secretary (Exploration), Shri S. Poundrik and DG, Director General of Hydrocarbon Shri B.N. Talukdar. CMDs and senior officials of ONGC,IOC,HPCL,BPCL,GAIL,OIL also accompanied him.
