The Department of Health and Family Welfare proposes to introduce the Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) (Amendment) Bill 2015 to amend the provisions of the Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003. As part of pre-legislative consultations the said amendment Bill along with the notes on clauses have been placed at www. mohfw.nic.in with a view to elicit the comments/views of the stakeholders including the general public.
The comments/views may be forwarded to Under Secretary (Tobacco Control), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Room No- 425 ‘C’, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi-110011 or emailed at ntcp.mohfw@gmail.comon or before 15th February, 2015.

why does'nt government ban these products???
mr. harshwardhan has already explained to the nation about how much medical cost country is incurring in treating diseases caused by tobaccos.
and if saying yes to tobacco then why not marijuana???
marijuana is less harmful than tobacco
