As per the data reported by the service providers, by the end of July 2013 about 97.82 million subscribers have submitted their requests to different service providers for porting their mobile number.
The latest telecom subscription data (as on 31st July 2013) released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) reveals that in MNP Zone-I (Northern & Western India) maximum number of requests have been received in Rajasthan (9.58 million) followed by Gujarat (8.33million) whereas in MNP Zone-II (Southern & Eastern) maximum number of requests have been received in Karnataka (11.45 million) followed by Andhra Pradesh Service area (8.90 million).
In the month of July 2013, total number of subscribers who have submitted their request for MNP stands at 2.23million.
