Global crude oil price of Indian Basket marginally declines to 101.48/US$ bbl on 10.6.2013, surges in Rupee terms

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 101.48/per barrel (bbl) on 10.06.2013. This was lower than the price of US$ 101.71/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 7.06.2013.
                                                                                                                     
 The crude oil price in rupee terms, however, increased to Rs 5863.51/bbl on 10.06.2013 as compared to Rs 5771.03/bbl on 7.06.2013. This was due to rupee depreciation. Rupee dollar exchange rate on 10.06.2013 was Rs 57.78/US$ against Rs 56.74/US$ on previous trading day of 07.06.2013.
