Brief Analysis of Power Generation from April 2012-February 2013.

Total Generation during the period April 2012-February 2013 has been 831.44 Billion Units which is 104.02% of the actual generation during the same period last year. The generation during April 2011-February 2012 as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year was 108.66%. 

So for as actual generation with reference to the Programme during the above period is concerned, Hydro generation has been 92.01% of the programme and Nuclear generation has been 95.03% of the programme however Thermal generation has been 99.46% of the programme. 

The possible total generation during April 2012-February 2013 would have been 896.90 Bus (loss of generation, considering 90% PLF is 65.46 Bus) which would have resulted in achievement of 105.97% instead of 98.23% over programme.
