The Finance Minister released a compendium of instructions on GST refunds and a copy of the Operational Manual on Internal Audit on eve of 43rd Civil Accounts day on March 01, 2019. The Finance Minister congratulated the CGA and his team on the occasion of Civil Accounts Day and appreciated the good work being done by ICAS. CGA presented a report on total GST refunds made till date in this Financial Year which is about Rs. 84,000 crore. Under PM -KISAN funds have been transferred into the accounts of more than 1 crore beneficiaries. On this occasion a short film on ARPIT (Accounting and Reconciliation Portal of Indirect Taxes) was shown to Finance Minister. During the event an Operational Manual of Risk Based Internal Audit was released and Dashboard of PFMS and a Bank Monitoring mobile application to monitor performance of Banks in handling Public Money were also inaugurated by the CGA.
