The Vice President and the Chairman Rajya Sabha, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has condoled the passing away of the Member of Rajya Sabha, Shri Palvai Govardhan Reddy. In a message, he said that Shri Reddy was an active and respected member of Rajya Sabha and he will be remembered for his relentless efforts towards the welfare of farmers in Telangana.

“I am deeply grieved to learn of the demise of Shri Palvai Govardhan Reddy, senior politician and Member of Rajya Sabha.
His departure is a personal loss. Shri Reddy was an active and respected member of Rajya Sabha since 2012, and his presence would be missed by all who worked with him. Shri Reddy will be remembered for his relentless efforts towards the welfare of farmers in Telangana.
I convey my sincere condolences to his family, friends and supporters and join the nation in praying for the eternal rest of the departed soul.”
