President of India’s message on the Eve of Independence Day of Georgia

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of Georgia on the eve of their Independence Day (May 26, 2017).
In a message to His Excellency Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili, the President of Georgia, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Georgia on the occasion of your Independence Day.
India’s relations with Georgia have traditionally been warm and friendly. I am confident that our bilateral relations will further strengthen and diversify in the years to come.
I take this opportunity to extend my good wishes for Your Excellency’s well-being and success as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Georgia”.
