Utilization of Budgetary Allocation by the Ministry

 Financial requirement of various schemes and activities of the Ministry is worked out on the basis of the funds required for the ongoing projects depending on their progress as well as fund requirement for the new projects and activities planned in a particular year. 

            To ensure proper and maximum utilization of budgetary allocation, periodic review of the expenditure on the schemes / activities is undertaken regularly in the Ministry. The progress is also reviewed in the meeting of the senior officers, apart from field visits and video conferencing with implementing agencies. The quarterly position of utilisation of budgetary allocation of the allocation of the Ministry during the last four years is as under:
