Ministry of AYUSH has set-up an autonomous Research Council, namely, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) as apex body for formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research activities in Ayurvedic medicine system for various diseases. Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Life Style Related Disorders (RARILSRD) is functioning under CCRAS at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The mandate of RARILSRD is as under:-
· Clinical Research focusing on Life style related Disorders.
· Other Activities:
Ø Health care services through Out–Patient Department (OPD)
Ø Special Clinics for Geriatric Health Care
Ø Outreach Activities such as Swasthya rakshan Programme etc.
