President’s Greetings on the eve of Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Vaiskhadi, Puthandu Pirappu and Naba Barsha

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the eve of Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Vaiskhadi, Puthandu Pirappu and Naba Barsha which are being celebrated on April 13-15, 2017 has said:-
“On the auspicious occasion of Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Vaisakhadi, Puthandu Pirappu and Naba Barsha, I extend good wishes and felicitations to all my countrymen in India and abroad.
These festivals heralding the New Year are celebrated differently in different parts of our country with zeal and enthusiasm. May the promise of the New Year be fulfilled through greater prosperity and happiness for our people, as they strive to build a strong and progressive nation”.
