Implementation of USTTAD Scheme

Under the USTTAD (Upgrading the Skills and Training in Traditional Arts/Crafts for Development) scheme, 16200 trainees has been allocated to various Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) in November, 2016. Training of trainees under USTTAD scheme has started after November, 2016 and their courses are not completed, As regards Hunar Se Rozgar scheme, total 13616 people got employment during the year 2015-16.
This information was given by Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, the Minister of State (IC) for Minority Affairs, in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha.
