National Sports Development Fund to Amit Kumar Saroha, Para Athlete for the services of support persons, participation in competitions and purchase of training equipment

             The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has approved financial assistance to Amit Kumar Saroha, Para Athletic for availing of the services of Physiotherapist, Masseur and Escort and also for participation in competitions/purchase of training equipment.  Financial assistance from National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) has been approved as per details given below:

2	Salary of Masseur from 16.11.2015 to 31.12.2015 (06 Sessions)	Rs 3,000.00 @ Rs 500 per session for six sessions
3	Salary of Escort from 16.11.2015 to 31.12.2015	Rs 15,000.00 @ Rs 10,000 per month for 1 months and 15 days
4	Participation in IPC approved event in Australia	As per actual – estimated cost Rs 5,00,000.00
5	Purchase of Training Equipment (clubs, medicine balls, Thera bands free weights, physio equipment)	As per actual – estimated cost Rs 1,20,000.00
	Total	Rs 6,83,000.00 (Rs Six Lakhs Eighty Three Thousand only)

Release of 90% of the approved amount of the items 1, 2 & 3 in Para 1 above has been sanctioned.  This works out to Rs 56,700 (Rupees Fifty Six thousand Seven hundred only) [90% of Rs 63,000.00).
