Secretary I&B met representatives of GraFTII

Shri Sunil Arora, Secretary I&B met a delegation comprising of Shri Dharam Gulati and Shri Rajiv Kamal, alumni’s of FTII and current Film and Television professionals (collectively known as GraFTII) on Nov. 17th, 2015 in the context of their letter dated 17.11.2015 given in the Ministry. During this meeting the issue of making the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) as the Institute of National Importance and other related issues were discussed. Shri Sanjay Murthy, Joint Secretary (Films) was also present. After discussions it was decided that Secretary I&B will meet the larger delegation of the GraFTII and representatives of FTII in Films Division, Mumbai on Dec 9th, 2015 at 11.00 A.M to work out the way forward to address the issues. Even earlier, Ms. Aruna Raje, a senior member of GraFTII had been associated all along during several interactions held with students of FTII at different levels in Delhi and Mumbai.
