Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences Dr. Harsh Vardhan, under the ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase / Fitting of Aids and Appliances) scheme, will distribute aids and appliances to disabled persons, free of cost. Aids like- Tricycle, Wheel Chairs, Elbow Crutches, Ear Hearing aid, Walking Cane & stick, Braille kit, MSIED Kit for children with special needs suffering from Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down syndrome etc., will be distributed. Two such training camps will be held on 18th and 19th November, 2015 from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. On 18th November such a camp will be held at MCD Community Hall, K-Block, Shakurpur, Sandesh Vihar, New Delhi and on 19th November at Majnoo of Tilla, Near Police Chowki, Delhi. Various disabled persons are invited for these camps along with certificate of disability, residential address proof and income certificate, as required to be eligible for assistance under the scheme.
