President of India’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the eve of their Independence Day (October 27, 2015). 

In his message to His Excellency Sir Frederick Nathaniel Ballantyne, the Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to Your Excellency warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day. 

India and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines traditionally share warm and friendly relations. As members of the Commonwealth, I am confident that our friendship would be further strengthened in the years to come. 

I also take this opportunity to convey to Your Excellency, my best wishes for your personal well-being and good health as well as for the peace, continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines”.
