The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Mozambique on the eve oftheir Independence Day (June 25, 2015).
In his message to His Excellency Mr. Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India, as well as on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to Your Excellency and to the people of Mozambique warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day.
India and Mozambique share warm and close bilateral relations, which have been expanding in recent years, to the mutual benefit of both our peoples. I am confident that the relations between our two countries will further strengthen in the years to come. In this context, I look forward to your visit to India in August this year.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your personal health and well being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Mozambique”.
