PM announces constitution of three sub-groups within NITI Aayog; asks all states to set up two task forces under aegis of NITI Aayog

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has announced that the NITI Aayog would constitute three sub groups of Chief Ministers on the following themes:

• Sub-group to study the 66 Centrally Sponsored Schemes and recommend which to continue, which to transfer to states, and which to cut down.
• Sub-group to recommend how NITI Aayog can promote skill development and creation of skilled manpower within states.
• Sub-group to decide on institutional mechanisms to be evolved, and technological inputs, for ensuring that commitment to Swachh Bharat becomes a part of our life in perpetuity.

In his concluding remarks at the first meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, the Prime Minister also asked all states to create two task forces under the aegis of the NITI Aayog One task force would focus on poverty alleviation, and the other would focus on future development of agriculture in the state, and how the Centre can assist the state in this regard.

The members of the sub-groups will be decided later, after Chief Ministers indicate their preferences.

The Prime Minister urged all states to use the upcoming school vacations as an opportunity to build and upgrade toilets, so as to ensure that the target of toilets for all schools is achieved. He also suggested that a portion of the funds under the MPLAD and MLALAD schemes can be earmarked for cleanliness-related activities, until 2019.

The Prime Minister appreciated the team spirit shown by all participating Chief Ministers in the thoughts and vision expressed by them during the meeting.

Dear prime minister,
thanks for giving positivity and hope to our country.

I thought to contact you and share my views.I am a normal person and willing to work voluntarily.
I know that in India any thing is only possible when there is a forceful implementation, and your leadership is capable of doing that.I don't know about the rules and how thing will work, but i have some out-of-box idea.
If we talk about growth, in simple, thing that are happening in Metro cities will reach villages in many years or even not. For speedy growth and benefits to reach quickly to the last person in village we need to work in revolutionary way.
I appreciate your governments step towards adopting a village by a Member of Parliament, but how it is possible for MPs to bring 6 lacks villages in to the main stream.
I feel this is the time to revolutionize.I suggest a (CC)"Contribute to Country" and come lets "MAKE OUR INDIA" program. This two program will become next big thing to happen after "jan dhan yojna" and "Make in India program".This two program will set an example for rest of the Wolrld. You only need to appeal to the people of india to come up.

In this "Contribute to Country" program. You will have to involve all the Business Families, individuals,PSU,NGOs,NRIs, all MLAs and even DMs to adopt a village and develop that particular village by using the resource of that village.they should come up with whatever
they can contribute.India has given them opportunity to grow and live now its time for every one
to contribute.
A competitive environment to be made. For example,if Tatas or Ambanies develops a village, how Infosys can do better and innovative. How many number of villages is been adopted by ONGC and BHARAT PETROLEUM etc.suppose railways adopt 5 villages then how much NTPC is opting for.
There is need of registration, who is adopting which village and declaration that what they will do in first year.
Those who will adopt a village will also ensure implementation of Government Policies with coordination with state government and district magistrate. This will fix the responsibility and delivery will be smooth.
Those doing good in this field should be rewarded by government as a feeling of recognition.Like Swachata Abhiyan "MAKE OUR INDIA" is also needed on war front, then only we can see the over all development. This will help almost all of your program simultaneously.
Here comes the need of fund.As every Company has to show social responsibility expenditure, Some part of that can be used in development of villages.Giving training about new technology and educating people will turn them as a potential consumer and even bigger market in few years.
Here I conclude.
With your permission I will come up with new ideas.I really want to work for my nation.
and this will be my contribution to my country.
thanks.we can make it.
.Please respond if you find this important.
Thanking you,
yours truly,
