Fake Websites Cheating Public in the Name of National Highways Authority of India- NHAI Clarifiication


It Has come to the notice of the National Highways Authority of India today that a fake website/email ID has been created at http://www.nhai.co.in / nhaiofindia@gmail.com by some unknown persons offering recruitment/ training offers and asking members of public to apply for openings/ training at “National Highways Authority of India” at its training centre at S-64, 65, Sector-12, Dwarka, New Delhi -110075. It is clarified there is no such training centre or office at this address.

The National Highways Authority of India clarifies and reiterates that it never contacts the public via unsolicited phone calls or emails asking for money or any other type of personal information concerning recruitment/ training. As such, the question of National Highways Authority of India offering recruitment/ training, as is indicated on the fake site, does not arise. The National Highways Authority of India advises members of public not to fall prey to spurious offers made by the fake website. The National Highways Authority of India further cautions members of public that applying through that website could result in compromising one’s own crucial personal information that may be misused to cause financial and other loss to them.

Members of public may visit the official website at www.nhai.org to see various recruitment notifications.

The public is advised to register complaints with the local law enforcement agencies and send a copy to:-
