Mr. Chuck Hagel, Secretary of Defence of the United States of America, is arriving in New Delhi today on an official visit. This is Secretary Hagel’s first visit to India in his current capacity.
During the visit apart from his official meetings on August 8, 2014 with the Defence Minister Shri Arun Jaitley, Secretary Hagel will call on the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He will also meet External Affairs Minister Smt Sushma Swaraj, National Security Advisor Shri Ajit Doval and Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha.
Secretary Hagel will lay a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti on August 08, 2014.
