Ministry
of Information and Broadcasting recently outsourced advertisement designs for
the 68th Independence Day through public participation (crowd
sourcing). A huge number of enthusiasts numbering 1000 responded to the
advertisement issued by Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity on 18th
June, 2014. An independent
selection committee of field experts, artists and academicians shortlisted 10
advertisements. Of this, 3 have been adjudicated as the best and would be
published in various newspapers across the country.
The top 3 advertisements would be given
Rs.15,000/- as a cash reward along with a letter of appreciation from the
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 7 designs chosen in the category of
consolation prizes would be awarded a cash prize of Rs.3000/- along with a
letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
