A delegation of National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) along with a group of children called on the Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari here today to observe the ‘Communal Harmony Campaign and Fund Raising Week’ being observed every year from 19th to 25th November. The delegation led by Secretary, NFCH Amb. Ashok Sajjanhar, comprised of 5 children- 2 each from Assam and Jammu & Kashmir and 1 from Maharashtra. The Vice President interacted with the children and wished them good success in their life and called for maintaining communal harmony and national integration in the country.
Communal Harmony Campaign and Fund Raising Week is observed every year from November 19-25 to raise funds for rehabilitation of child victims of communal, caste, ethnic or terrorists violence and promotion of communal harmony, national integration and fraternity.
