Prime Minister to hold a Meeting to Review Infrastructure Sectors

The Prime Minister will hold a meeting of key infrastructure Ministries on Friday, 28.6.2013. The meeting will be attended by Ministers of Railways, Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Civil Aviation, Power and Coal.

2. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the targets to be achieved in these infrastructure sectors for the year 2013-14 and finalise them. The Prime Minister had followed the same practice last year in which a meeting was held on the targets for 2012-13, which were then finalized and announced.

3. This year also, the Planning Commission has done the preparatory work in finalizing the targets for 2013-14. At the end of this meeting, the targets would be formally announced.
