            II         Editorial Highlights



1.         The Union Government has recently notified Civil Services Exams (2013) based on the recommendations of the Committee headed by Prof. Arun. S. Nigavekar, Major changes have been made in the format for main examination. For the benefit of candidates, Employment News carried an article with in depth analysis and the implications of the changed format.

2.         The Civil Services interviews are being conducted by UPSC. The Employment News issue of 23-29 March 2013 carried tips on how to face interview. This was written by Sh. R. Nataraj, IPS(Retd.), Chairman, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

3.         The Union Budget 2013-14 has introduced a tax on the super rich. The concept was critically analyzed by the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA).
