Funds utilization under PMEGP and KVIC in West Bengal

Margin Money allocations and targets for units to be set up under PMEGP are allocated to the states based on their percentage of population, backwardness of districts and its past performance and the funds allocated for the Scheme under the annual Budget.  There has been some decline in the allocation for west Bengal after 2013-14 due to reduction in allocation under the annual Budget for the PMEGP Scheme. Year-wise allocation and utilization under PMEGP for West Bengal is given below; as the performance of the state is good, additional funds are provided to West Bengal every year more than the targeted allocation.
