The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Russian Federation on the eve of ‘Day of Russia’ (June 12, 2016).
In a message to His Excellency Mr. Vladimir V. Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I convey warm greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency and the Government and people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the “Day of Russia” on 12 June, 2016.
India deeply values its Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership with Russia. The friendship between our two nations has stood the test of time. I share your confidence that our bilateral relations will grow from strength to strength in the years to come.
